Fortunately, at Heathrow Airport, you have the option to arrange airport-to-home luggage delivery for oversized bags, allowing you to travel more comfortably.

Understanding Oversized Luggage

What Qualifies as Oversized Luggage?

Oversized luggage is generally classified as bags that exceed the standard dimensions set by airlines, which typically are 158 cm (length + width + height) and weigh more than 23 kg for checked bags. Common examples include sports equipment, large musical instruments, or extra-large suitcases. Knowing this can help you avoid any surprises when it comes to handling your baggage at the airport.
