Arranging Family Luggage Delivery for Oversized Bags at Heathrow

Understanding Oversized Luggage

Travelling with oversized bags can pose significant challenges, particularly at busy airports like Heathrow. Whether you’re bringing along sports equipment, musical instruments, or simply extra-large suitcases, knowing how to manage these items is crucial for a smooth travel experience.

What is Oversized Luggage?

Oversized luggage typically refers to bags that exceed standard airline dimensions. Most airlines consider luggage oversized if it measures more than 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions (length + width + height). Handling these bags requires careful planning to avoid unexpected fees and delays.
