Booking Baggage Delivery in Advance

Why Book in Advance?

Booking your baggage delivery in advance ensures that you have a smooth and organised arrival. It allows the courier service to coordinate with your flight details, ensuring that your luggage is collected promptly as you arrive. Additionally, booking in advance often comes with the benefit of reduced rates compared to last-minute arrangements.

How to Book

To book baggage delivery in advance, follow these simple steps:

1. Choose a Service Provider: Research and select a reliable baggage delivery service that operates from Heathrow Airport.

2. Provide Flight Details: When making your booking, be prepared to provide your flight number and arrival time. This information is crucial for timely luggage collection.

3. Specify Collection Timing: Indicate when you would like your baggage to be collected. This is typically done soon after your flight lands.

4. Baggage Quantities: Clearly state the number of bags you wish to have delivered. This helps the courier service prepare adequately.

5. Delivery Address: Provide a complete and accurate address for where your luggage should be delivered. Ensure this is confirmed before finalising your booking.

Practical Information

Collection Timing

It is advisable to allow at least 2-3 hours after your flight lands for baggage collection. This accounts for any delays in landing, customs clearance, and the time taken to retrieve your luggage.

Baggage Quantities

Most services can accommodate multiple pieces of luggage; however, there may be restrictions or additional fees for oversized or extra bags. Always check the terms and conditions of your chosen provider.

Delivery Addresses

Ensure that the delivery address is reachable and that someone is available to receive the luggage. Many services offer options for delivery to homes, hotels, or even offices.
