The trains are equipped with comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and ample luggage space, enhancing the travel experience.

Oyster Card Overview

The Oyster card is a smart travel card used primarily on public transport in London, including buses, the Tube, and trains. It offers a convenient way to pay for travel and can be topped up as needed. Many Londoners and visitors prefer using an Oyster card due to the discounted fares it provides compared to purchasing paper tickets. However, not all services are covered by the Oyster card, and this is where the confusion regarding the Heathrow Express arises.

Can You Use an Oyster Card on the Heathrow Express?

The straightforward answer is no, you cannot use an Oyster card for travel on the Heathrow Express. This service operates separately from Transport for London (TfL) services, which means that standard Oyster card payments are not accepted.
