Booking Luggage Delivery in Advance

Why Book in Advance?

Booking your luggage delivery in advance is highly recommended for several reasons. Firstly, it ensures that you secure a spot for your luggage, especially during peak travel seasons when demand is high. Secondly, it allows you to plan your itinerary more efficiently, knowing that your bags will be taken care of upon arrival.

How to Book

Booking luggage delivery at Heathrow can typically be done online through the airport’s official website or through third-party courier services. When booking, you’ll need to provide:

- Flight details: including your arrival time and flight number.

- Collection timing: specifying when you want your bags picked up.

- Baggage quantities: detailing how many bags you will be sending.

- Delivery addresses: where the bags should be delivered.

Collection Timing

Choosing the right collection time is crucial. Most service providers recommend scheduling your luggage collection at least 24 hours before your flight. This allows them to manage logistics effectively and ensures that your bags are ready for delivery upon your arrival.

Baggage Quantities

When using luggage delivery services, it’s important to be aware of the limitations on baggage quantities. Each service may have different policies regarding the maximum number of bags you can send, as well as size and weight restrictions. Always check the provider’s guidelines to avoid any last-minute surprises.

Delivery Addresses

Make sure to provide a precise delivery address when booking your luggage delivery. If you are staying in a hotel, include the name of the hotel, address, and booking reference if possible. This will help ensure that your luggage arrives at the correct destination without any delays.
