What is Suitcase Delivery?

Suitcase delivery is a convenient service that allows travellers to send their luggage directly to their destination without needing to carry it through the airport. Why Book in Advance?

Booking your suitcase delivery in advance is highly recommended for several reasons. Firstly, it guarantees that your luggage will be collected and delivered according to your schedule. Secondly, it allows you to take advantage of any promotional offers or discounts that may be available. Lastly, it provides peace of mind knowing that your luggage is taken care of before you even arrive at the airport.

How to Book

To book suitcase delivery in advance at Heathrow Airport, follow these steps:

1. Choose a Provider: Research and select a reputable luggage delivery service. Popular options include Heathrow's official luggage service and independent couriers.

2. Provide Flight Details: When booking, you will need to provide your flight information, including the arrival time and flight number. This helps the courier coordinate the collection of your bags.

3. Select Collection Timing: Decide when you want your bags collected. Most services allow collection on the same day as your flight, but you can also arrange for a different time.

4. Specify Delivery Address: Ensure you have the complete address where you want your luggage delivered. It’s advisable to double-check the postcode and any specific instructions for the delivery location.

5. Payment: Complete the booking by making the payment. Keep the confirmation email as proof of your booking.

Important Considerations

Baggage Quantities

When booking suitcase delivery, consider the number of bags you plan to send. Different providers may have limits on the number of items per booking, so be sure to check their policies. If you have excessive luggage, you might need to split your booking across multiple providers or make separate arrangements.

Collection Timing

Ensure that you allow ample time for your bags to be collected. Most service providers recommend scheduling collection at least two to three hours before your flight's departure. This gives the courier enough time to manage any unforeseen delays.

Special Requirements

If you have special items such as sports equipment or fragile items, check with the provider about their handling policies. Some companies may have specific guidelines for these types of luggage.
