Essential Information for Arranging Bag Delivery at Heathrow

Introduction

When travelling, the last thing you want to worry about is lugging your heavy bags around. Fortunately, Heathrow Airport offers a convenient bag delivery service that allows you to send your luggage directly to your hotel or another location. To ensure a seamless experience, it is essential to provide the correct information when arranging this service.

What Information is Required?

Hotel Delivery

If you're planning to have your bags delivered to a hotel, there are several crucial details you must provide:

1. Full Hotel Address: Ensure you have the complete address of the hotel where you will be staying. This includes the street name, postal code, and any specific instructions that might be necessary for delivery.

2. Confirmation with Hotel Reception: Before sending your bags, confirm that the hotel’s reception can accept luggage on your behalf. Many hotels have policies regarding deliveries, and it’s best to verify this in advance to avoid any issues.

3. Guest Name: Include the name under which the hotel reservation was made. This helps the hotel staff identify your luggage upon arrival and ensures that it is delivered to the correct room.

4. Notification of Third-Party Courier: If you are using a third-party courier service, inform the hotel that someone will be arriving with your bags. This can prevent any confusion at the reception desk and ensure a smooth handover.
