Understanding Luggage Collection at Heathrow

Upon arriving at Heathrow Airport, you will need to collect your luggage from the designated baggage reclaim area. It’s essential to follow these steps:

Baggage Reclaim Areas

Each terminal has specific baggage reclaim areas based on the airline you flew with. Always check the screens upon arrival for your designated area. Once there, look for the carousel number corresponding to your flight, which will help you locate your luggage efficiently.

Lost Luggage Procedures

In the unfortunate event that your luggage does not arrive, it’s crucial to report it immediately to the airline’s lost luggage counter. Make sure to keep your baggage claim ticket as it will be required for any claims.
