Frequency of Service

The Heathrow Express runs every 15 minutes, ensuring that passengers have multiple options throughout the day. The first train departs from Paddington at around 5:10 AM, and the last train leaves at approximately 11:25 PM. This schedule makes it convenient for both early morning and late-night travellers.

Additionally, the trains are equipped with power sockets, making it easy for travellers to charge their devices during the journey.

Ticket Options

When planning your trip, it’s essential to consider ticket options. The prices for tickets can vary based on how far in advance you purchase them. Booking in advance can offer significant savings compared to buying a ticket on the day of travel. There are also options for return tickets and family discounts, making it an economical choice for various types of travellers.

Comparing Alternatives

While the Heathrow Express is the fastest option, it’s worth comparing with other modes of transport:

- London Underground (Piccadilly Line): The Tube takes about 50 minutes to reach Heathrow, making it a more economical choice but significantly slower.

- Taxi or Ride-Sharing Services: Depending on traffic, this can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more. Costs can also vary widely.

- National Express Coaches: These coaches offer a direct service to Heathrow, but travel times can exceed an hour, especially during peak periods.
