Alternatives for Late Night Travel

For those needing to travel outside of the Heathrow Express's operating hours, there are several alternatives:

London Underground

The Piccadilly Line of the London Underground operates throughout the night on Fridays and Saturdays, making it a viable option for late-night travellers. However, this service can be slower compared to the Heathrow Express.

Buses

Night buses are available from Heathrow to various locations in London. The N9 bus, for example, runs to Trafalgar Square and is an economical option for late-night journeys.

Taxis and Rideshares

Black cabs and rideshare services like Uber operate 24 hours a day from Heathrow Airport. While more expensive than public transport, these options provide a direct and convenient way to reach your destination at any hour.
