What is Luggage Delivery?

Luggage delivery is a service that collects your bags from the airport and transports them to your specified destination. This service is especially beneficial for passengers who may be travelling with multiple bags, have mobility issues, or simply wish to travel light.

How Does Luggage Delivery Work at Heathrow?

Upon arrival at Heathrow, passengers can opt for luggage delivery services either through their airline or a third-party provider. Here’s how it typically works:

1. Booking the Service: You can pre-book luggage delivery when you book your flight or upon arrival at the airport. Ensure you check the provider’s policies on pick-up and delivery.

2. Check-in: After checking in at the airport, you will need to inform the delivery service about your arrival and provide details such as your flight number and expected landing time.

3. Collection and Delivery: Once you land, the delivery service will collect your luggage from the baggage claim area. They will then transport it to your designated address.

Key Benefits of Luggage Delivery

- Convenience: You can skip the hassle of dragging your bags through the airport and on public transport.

- Flexibility: If your flight is delayed, inform the delivery provider as soon as practical and check whether the collection window can be adjusted. This ensures your luggage is still picked up, regardless of flight timings.

- Time-Saving: You can head straight to your destination without worrying about your luggage, freeing up time for you to settle in or explore.
