Suitcase Delivery Services at Heathrow

Heathrow Airport has partnered with several luggage delivery companies that provide a seamless way for passengers to have their bags transported to their accommodations. This service is particularly beneficial for those who wish to avoid the hassle of dragging heavy luggage through public transport or waiting in long taxi queues.

How It Works

The suitcase delivery process is straightforward. After booking your flight, you can arrange for your suitcase delivery online or through your travel agent. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Book Your Delivery: Choose a reputable luggage delivery service and provide your flight details.

2. Prepare Your Luggage: Ensure your bags are securely packed and labelled with the delivery information.

3. Drop-off or Collection: Some services allow you to drop off your luggage at designated points, while others will collect it directly from the airport.

4. Delivery to Hotel: The service will deliver your luggage directly to your hotel, provided you have informed the hotel in advance.

Important Considerations for Hotel Deliveries

When using suitcase delivery services to send luggage to a hotel, there are several important considerations to keep in mind:

- Use the Hotel’s Full Address: Ensure you provide the complete address of your hotel, including the postcode. This helps avoid any confusion during delivery.

- Confirm Reception Policies: Before arranging for delivery, confirm with the hotel that their reception can accept luggage on your behalf. Some hotels may have specific policies regarding third-party deliveries.

- Guest Name: Always include the name under which the reservation was made. This ensures that the hotel staff can easily identify your luggage upon arrival.

- Notify the Hotel: Where possible, inform the hotel that a third-party courier will be delivering your bags. This can help speed up the process and ensure your luggage is stored securely.
