Pricing Overview

Heathrow Express prices vary based on several factors, including the time of travel, ticket type, and how far in advance you purchase your ticket. Generally, the earlier you book, the cheaper your ticket will be. Here’s a breakdown of the standard pricing:

- Standard Class: Prices typically range from £25 when booked in advance to £37.50 for on-the-day purchases.

Ticket Options

When travelling on the Heathrow Express, you have several ticket options:

Single and Return Tickets

You can purchase single tickets, which are ideal for one-way trips, or return tickets for round trips. Return tickets offer a slight discount, making them a cost-effective choice for travellers.

Group Discounts

If you're travelling with a group of ten or more, you can benefit from group discounts. It’s worth checking the official website for specific group rates, as these can significantly reduce the cost per person.

Off-Peak vs Peak Pricing

Heathrow Express operates on a peak and off-peak pricing model. Peak times are generally during the morning and evening rush hours, while off-peak tickets are available at reduced rates during quieter times. Knowing your travel times can help you save money.

Booking Your Ticket

Booking your ticket in advance is one of the best ways to secure lower prices. You can book online via the Heathrow Express website or through their mobile app. Here are a few tips for booking:

- Use the App: The mobile app often provides exclusive discounts and promotions.

- Check for Promotions: Regularly check the official website for seasonal promotions or discount codes.

- Consider Railcards: If you travel frequently, investing in a railcard can save you up to one-third on ticket prices.

Additional Costs to Consider

While the ticket price is the primary cost, there are additional expenses to keep in mind:

Luggage Fees

Heathrow Express allows passengers to travel with up to two pieces of luggage free of charge. However, if you have additional luggage, you may incur extra fees.
