What is Airport Luggage Collection?

The airport luggage collection service allows passengers to have their luggage picked up from the airport and delivered directly to their homes or specified addresses. This service is particularly beneficial for those who wish to avoid the hassle of dragging heavy bags through public transport or taxi ranks after a long flight.

How Does It Work?

Booking the Service

To use the airport luggage collection service at Terminal 3, you must first book it in advance. This can typically be done online through the service provider’s website. On Arrival at Terminal 3

Upon arrival, simply proceed through customs and collect your luggage as you normally would. The service provider will often have a representative at the airport who will assist you in handing over your bags for collection.

Delivery Arrangements

For residential delivery, ensure that someone is available to receive the luggage at the specified address. Alternatively, you can agree on a safe handover process with the provider, allowing for flexibility in case you are not home at the time of delivery.

Important Considerations

Safe Handover Process

When using the luggage collection service, it's essential to establish a safe handover process. This could involve leaving the luggage with a trusted friend or neighbour if you cannot be at home. Always communicate with the service provider to ensure they follow the agreed process.

Items to Avoid Packing

While luggage collection services are convenient, it is crucial to consider what you pack. Avoid leaving passports, cash, medication, irreplaceable valuables, or prohibited items in your luggage unless the service expressly permits and covers them. This ensures that you do not face any issues during transit or delivery.
