What is Residential Luggage Delivery?

Residential luggage delivery is a service that allows travellers to send their luggage directly from their home or accommodation to the airport. Many travellers opt for this service to streamline their airport experience, particularly when travelling with family or multiple bags.

When to Book Your Luggage Delivery

Advance Booking

It is recommended to book your luggage delivery service at least 48 hours in advance. This timeframe allows the service provider to arrange for pickup and ensure your luggage arrives at Heathrow on time. Last-minute bookings can lead to complications and delays, particularly during peak travel seasons.

Consider Seasonal Demand

London experiences peak travel seasons, especially during summer holidays and festive periods. During these times, luggage delivery services can become fully booked quickly. To avoid disappointment, consider booking your service several weeks in advance if you're travelling during these busy periods.

Check the Airline’s Policy

Before finalising your luggage delivery booking, check your airline’s policy regarding luggage. Some airlines may have specific restrictions or requirements that could affect how and when you send your bags. Understanding these guidelines can help you avoid potential issues at the airport.
